NASA Creates Checklist for Solicitations Requiring Certified Cost or Pricing Data

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration is amending its acquisition regulations to add a proposal adequacy checklist. The NASA contracting officer will insert the checklist in solicitations that require the submission of certified cost or pricing data.  The new solicitation provision, NFS 1852.215-85, Proposal adequacy checklist, requires offerors to complete the checklist appended to the provision and provide the location of specified information or explain why they did not provide the requested information.

The final rule is scheduled to appear in tomorrow’s Federal Register.  If you would like a copy of the checklist, see the public inspection document.
