Happy Thanksgiving

I hope you have a safe and happy long weekend (if you haven’t already started it). There has been a lot going on with the government on the political side and hopefully the contracts and compliance piece really starts to open up as the politics get sorted out.

Oh, and Happy Holidays a little early too.  After a long and treacherous journey, contractors received an early present on Monday when President Obama signed the legislation repealing a 2006 law that would have required a three-percent withholding on almost all federal contractors starting in 2013. The winning formula turned out to be pairing the repeal with tax credits of up to $9,600 for hiring unemployed veterans.
